In 2013, SMHA and the Saskatoon Referees Association amalgamated to create the Saskatoon Minor Hockey Association Referees Division.  The Referees Division is led by the SMHA Referee-in-Chief, Clint Joyes, and his Referees Division Committee.  This partnership will allow the senior referees from the Referees Division Committee to help make our referees better.  SMHA looks after administration, such as assigning and paying honorariums to the referees.
