Hockey Saskatchewan uses a 7-goal differential in its tie-breaker formula.  SMHA, therefore, adjusts all scores that have a differential greater than 7 goals.  Example, if a game score is posted as 12-2, it will be adjusted by SMHA to a score of 9-2 so that the maximum differential is in place to ensure accurate numbers in the case of a tie-breaker requirement.  It is much appreciated if the winning team factors this requirement in when posting its game scores.
