SANCTION AND PERMIT REQUESTS

Hockey Saskatchewan requires minor hockey associations to be responsible for all Tournament Sanctions, Exhibition Game Sanctions and Travel Permits for its member teams. SMHA is therefore required to submit for all of the these sanctions/permits vs. teams being able to do so on their own.

NOTE: THE FORMS BELOW ARE FOR USE BY SASKATOON MHA TEAMS ONLY. IF YOU ARE WITH ANOTHER MHA, YOU MUST APPLY VIA YOUR HOME MHA. **

***IMPORTANT: TOURNAMENT SANCTIONS, EXHIBITION GAME SANCTIONS AND TRAVEL PERMITS WILL NOT BE ISSUED TO U13 & OLDER TEAMS DURING BLACKED-OUT HOCKEY SASKATCHEWAN SASKFIRST WEEKENDS NOR WILL THEY BE ISSUED FOR PLAY DURING SMHA PROVINCIAL PLAYOFFS, SMHA CITY PLAYOFFS OR HOCKEY SASK PROVINCIAL PLAYOFFS.

Exhibition Game Sanction Request to host an exhibition game - mandatory for all exhibition or pre-season games from U7 through U18AAA. Note: just the host team needs to apply for a sanction.     There is no cost for an Exhibition Game Sanction.

**Important:

Exhibition Games are not permitted until November 15th for U9 & U11 and until December 1st for U7.      Exhibition Game sanctions must be submitted to SMHA a minimum of three (3) business days prior to the exhibition game date.

 

Travel Permit Request for Travel within Canada (to another province or territory). There is no cost for a travel permit. Travel Permits must be submitted to SMHA a minimum of one week prior to the first travel day.
