Online Game Sheets Expand to U13 This Season

Starting the week of October 19, U13 league and playoff games move to TeamLinkt online game sheets, joining U9 and U11. Here’s what teams, scorekeepers and officials need to know, with all the resources in one place.

Starting the week of October 19, all U13 SMHA league and playoff games will use TeamLinkt online game sheets instead of paper. U9 and U11 continue online as they did last season. U15 and U18 stay on paper this season, and exhibition and tournament games stay on paper for every division.

Scores, goals, penalties and officials now go straight to SMHA, which means faster, more accurate results and standings.

For teams and scorekeepers

  • Day before: the home Team Admin opens the game in the TeamLinkt app (Events tab → the game → Digital Game Sheet), copies the Game Code and posts it in the team chat.
  • Game day: both teams check in their roster in the app, then Sign to Verify.
  • At the rink: the scorekeeper opens games.teamlinkt.com in a phone browser (not the app) and enters the code before going inside.
  • Add the officials as early as possible, as soon as they arrive. The game can’t start without them.
  • Always pick the penalty infraction. If it’s skipped, the sheet records “Attempt to Injure”.
  • Take a screenshot at the end of each period in case the phone dies.
  • Get the officials’ signature and any write-ups before you tap Finalize.

Each team needs at least two parents who can keep the online sheet. If you can help, let your team manager know.

For officials

Check in at the timekeeper’s box as soon as you arrive, so the scorekeeper can add you. The online sheet is SMHA’s record of who worked the game. Write-ups go on the scorekeeper’s device, and the game can’t be finalized without an official’s signature. For any misconduct, game misconduct, gross misconduct or match penalty, the SMHA Incident Report Form is still required.
