TRY GOALIE DAYS PRESENTED BY AL ANDERSON'S SOURCE FOR SPORTS

SMHA Goaltender Development Chairperson, Kayla Shaw, and the SMHA Zone Goalie Coordinators will be hosting seven Try Goalie Days during the 2024-25 season.  Four zones will have sessions on Sunday, January 12, 2025 and three zones will have sessions on Sunday, January 19, 2025

SMHA Try Goalie Days are open to SMHA players age 6-10 years of age. SMHA has 12 sets of goalie equipment to lend players.  Your home zone Goalie Equipment Coordinators & Equipment Coordinators can also provide goalie equipment.

Players need to supply their own helmet & cage / mask, hockey pants, skates, hockey socks, and under gear (jock or jill).  If borrowing SMHA equipment, goalie pads, chest protector, glove and blocker and a jersey will be provided.

Players are welcome to wear their own goalie equipment if they have their own.  Jerseys will be provided to all players trying the goaltender position.

Goalies should register for the session with their home zone if possible but are welcome to register for any session if there is a better date.
