The 17 players selected in one draft is a new SMHA record - 16 players had been drafted in two other seasons (2007 & 2021).

** Reminder to players not drafted to just keep on working at it!  Nearly half the players on WHL rosters are undrafted players that were listed after their draft years.  Think Jerome Iginla and Michael Ferland as just a couple of examples of undrafted players that did well for themselves.
