About WSA

Established in 1976, Weyburn Soccer has been a cornerstone of sport and community in Weyburn for nearly five decades. What began as a grassroots program has grown into a club built on inclusion, development, and a deep belief in the power of sport to positively shape young people.

At Weyburn Soccer, our purpose goes beyond wins and losses. We exist to provide safe, positive, and meaningful soccer experiences for players of all ages and abilities. We believe every player deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game in an environment where they feel supported, valued, and confident.

Our approach is guided by long-term player development principles. We prioritize age-appropriate training, game-based learning, and coaching that focuses on skill development, decision-making, and character. From first kicks and community programming to competitive and advanced pathways, we are committed to meeting players where they are and helping them progress at their own pace.

Weyburn Soccer is proud to be rooted in our community. We work to keep players developing locally while offering pathways that allow ambition and growth without forcing families to leave home. Through strong coaching, thoughtful programming, and collaboration with regional partners, we aim to protect and strengthen soccer in Weyburn and surrounding rural communities.

None of this is possible without our volunteers, coaches, families, and supporters. Their passion and commitment are the foundation of our club and the reason Weyburn Soccer continues to thrive.
