At Weyburn Soccer, player safety comes first—always. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where every participant can enjoy soccer free from abuse, harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour.
All Weyburn Soccer programs operate in accordance with Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA), Canada Soccer, and FIFA policies, and are governed by the Weyburn Soccer Association Policy Manual, including our Code of Conduct, Screening Policy, and Code of Conduct to Protect Children
.All coaches, managers, and team officials registered with Weyburn Soccer are required to complete Safe Sport training and screening appropriate to their role, as mandated by Saskatchewan Soccer.

Signed Code of Conduct
Adherence to the Rule of Two (no one-on-one interactions without another adult present)
Travel-specific Safe Sport education
Awareness of Safe Travel & Supervision Guidelines
Clear communication protocols with parents and athletes
Compliance with SSA Safe Working Practices for Adults Working with Children
Screening and education requirements are scaled to role and level of responsibility, but all adults in positions of trust are screened and trained in line with SSA standards

Appropriate and inappropriate behaviours
Clear professional boundaries
Communication guidelines with youth
Supervision expectations
Mandatory reporting responsibilities

Children have the right to feel safe
Adults are responsible for maintaining healthy boundaries
Concerns must be taken seriously and acted on immediately
All suspected or reported incidents are handled using documented reporting and response procedures, prioritizing the safety and well-being of the child above all else

Reports can be made by players, parents, coaches, volunteers, or members of the public. All reports are taken seriously and handled in accordance with Safe Sport and legal requirements.

Parents to support respectful behaviour and speak up when concerned
Players to treat others with respect and report anything that doesn’t feel right
