WESA Coaching Manual
An updated version of the league Coaching Manual is in the works. We hope to have a working draft ready for the 2025 Season. The current Coaching Manual can be found as part of the WESA Governing Manual here.
Coaches Autumn Mini-Retreat and Spring Conference
Twice a year, WESA's Coaches get together with the WESA Commission to learn from each other and plan ahead on issues of Team Management and Skills development. The Autumn Mini-Retreat is focused more on discussing ways to improve the Coaching experience and that of the Members. The Spring Conference is focused on the impending team draft and season.
Coaching Clinics
In order to achieve our goal of being inclusive and transparent in recruitment and training of WESA team management and leadership, the league continues to develop a series of Coaching Clinics. The ultimate goal is to prepare our members for success in their Coaching aspirations while filling the league's needs of capable and competent Coaches.
Possible topics for our Coaching Clinics:

- Coaching Skills Training
- Rules of the Game
- Scorekeeping (for all members)
Our first Coaching Clinic was part of the WESA 2024 Spring Coaches' Conference with a focus on Team Leadership.
The WESA 2025 Autumn Coaches Mini-Retreat features a clinic on Team Management.
