THE SERIES IN SURREY
Pride Canada Series
July 17 - 19, 2026
Vancouver/Surrey, British Columbia
Welcoming players from Greater Vancouver and across Canada & the US for a celebration of competitive slo-pitch softball in a series tournament featuring three divisions of inclusive play.  Including all league teams from the West End Slo-pitch Association's 2026 Season. Visiting teams from across Canada and the United States will be placed into divisions using the same iPride-based player skills ratings, ensuring balanced and inclusive competition across the tournament.

The Pride Softball Canada Cup (PSCC) is Canada’s all-gender annual destination Pride event with slo-pitch softball at the centre, created to give players across Canada and beyond the opportunity to experience a premier tournament in Canada while taking part in the broader PSCC experience.  WESA is proud to bring National Pride softball to Greater Vancouver in association with Surrey Pride and iPride Softball's Canadian leagues.

History: How we got here.

Since 1978, Canada has had Gay Softball tournaments in Vancouver and/or Toronto.  Toronto's Gay Canada Cup started in 1978 and Vancouver's Pacific Cup has run continuously since 1979.   IPS members from Vancouver, Hamilton, and Toronto have been looking to find more opportunities for their members to travel and compete with other Pride communites in Canada.  In 2026 WESA is merging the Vancouver Pacific Cup and our league WESA Cup into the new Canada Cup Series.

All WESA Vancouver league teams are automatically entered into the PSCC as our season ending tournament while we welcome our fellow pride softball guests from all over.
