Tryout Information 2023-24 for U15 B/C

U15 B/C tryouts will run during the evenings from September 19th to the 25th. There will be a pre-skate and skills evaluation for players registered that opted only to register in divisions B/C starting on the 19th. Groupings for those skates will be posted no later than September 14th.  Starting on the 22nd there will be evaluation scrimmages for all U15 players. Groupings cannot be posted until the A draft is complete which means that they will not likely be posted until the 18th or 19th depending on when we receive the names of kids coming into the B/C skates.

All skates will be at Schroh Arena.

UPDATE: September 20 Update:

WIth the A draft concluded the number of players left for  B/C teams warrants 3 teams of 15 skaters and 2 goalies per team. There is a slight change to the schedule because of that as there will no longer be 2 skates on the 23rd.  The new schedule will be as follows:

September 22: 9:30-10:30 Team 1 vs Team 2
September 23: 5:00-6:00 Team 1 vs Team 3
September 25: 5:00-6:00 Team 2 vs Team 3

Player registration will open 45 minutes prior to your players scheduled skate time. You will need to register and pick up their assigned jersey. Jerseys will need to be collected after each skate so that the next group may wear them as well so please be sure to leave them in the dressing room or drop them at the registration table on the way out.

Independent evaluators will be hired to evaluate players. Evaluators will submit their evaluations and the coordinator will input the data to calculate the players rating for draft purposes.

If you are interested in coaching this season, please fill out your coaching registration on the website if you haven’t done so already. If you have had any trouble registering as a coach for another team, please send me an email and I will add you to the list.  The coaches will be selected by committee once the evaluations are complete and dependent upon where their player has been placed. Please note that Respect in Sport is only valid for 5 years and anyone that has taken the course prior to the 2019 season will have to retake the course this year.
