Fort Saskatchewan Soccer has adopted a new structure for its Executive Committee. This change was made to address several challenges we’ve encountered over time. One of the primary goals is to ease the workload of each committee member by introducing new roles and distributing responsibilities more evenly.
We recognize that today’s parents and volunteers often have limited time. By breaking down positions into smaller, more manageable roles, we aim to make it easier for individuals to get involved without feeling overwhelmed. This also helps ensure that all roles remain filled and that no one person is left covering multiple vacant positions.
To further support our leadership team, we have introduced Coordinator Positions. These roles are designed specifically to assist the Program Directors and help lighten their day-to-day workload. While Coordinator roles are non-voting, individuals in these positions are entitled to coordinator incentives and will have their volunteer fees waived in recognition of their contributions.
This new structure is intended to create a more sustainable, collaborative, and efficient environment as we continue to grow and support our soccer community.
