Program Overview:

The Jr and Sr Girls Community Basketball Program is a comprehensive basketball program designed for high school-aged girls. It offers a four-week skill development phase followed by a competitive league season with playoffs. The program aims to enhance participants' basketball skills, foster teamwork and camaraderie, and provide a positive and inclusive environment for young female athletes.

Skill Development Phase (4 weeks):

• Dates: October 28th to November 25th, 2023
• Participants will receive coaching and training to improve their basketball skills.
• Skill development sessions will cover shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and game strategy.
• Experienced coaches will lead drills, exercises, and practice games to enhance individual abilities.

Evaluation and Team Draft:

• At the end of the skill development phase, an evaluation will be conducted.
• Factors considered: skill level, teamwork, attitude, and dedication.
• Four equally balanced teams will be formed through a fair and transparent draft process.
• The aim is to create competitive and evenly matched teams for the league season.

League Season (December 10, 2023, to Mid-March):

• The league season will run from December 10, 2023, to mid-March.
• Games will be scheduled primarily on Saturdays.
• Teams will compete in a round-robin format.
• Participants will have the opportunity to put their skills into practice, develop game sense, and experience friendly competition.
• Emphasis will be on teamwork, strategizing, and showcasing individual talents.

Playoffs:

• Playoffs will take place in the first two weeks of March.
• All teams will advance to the playoffs.
• Double-elimination format guarantees each team two games.
• The playoffs will create a high-stakes and exhilarating atmosphere for participants.

Registration Process:

1. Eligibility: The program is open to high school-aged girls.
2. Registration Dates: Registration opens on July 10, 2023  and closes on Sept 15th, 2023 however a late fee applies after september 1st 
3. Registration Fee: The registration fee for the program is $280
4. Registration Form: Complete the registration form on our website 
5. Parent/Guardian Consent: Participants under 18 years of age require parent/guardian consent.
6. Payment: Pay the registration fee through the designated payment method.
7. Confirmation: Upon successful registration and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with further details.

Refund Policy

Refunds are considered on the following basis:

Prior to the season starting you will be refunded your fees less a $25 cancellation fee. 

After the season starts refunds will not be issued.
