Season Details
The Jr. Warriors Spring minor division (U10/U12) plays in the OSFL and focuses on improving fundamentals and skill development while providing a more competitive environment.
Players learn the importance of commitment, dedication and team work.
Our 2023 Spring U12 Jr Warriors were UNDEFEATED winning the U12 AA OSFL Championship and we are looking for a repeat!
Tryouts/Practice starts outdoors in April
Practice is twice per week all season
Games start in mid-May 2025 and go to post-season early August 2025
2025 AA U12 Team Tryouts
As the excitement builds for the upcoming season, due to the incredible demand to join our Spring 2025 AA U12 team, a tryout process will be implemented if registrations exceed 35 players.
The tryouts are scheduled to commence in April, culminating in final cuts at the end of April.
You DO NOT need prior tackle experience to try out for the U12 team. All experience levels are welcome. Evaluations are based on athletic ability, coachability, showing a willingness to try your best, paying attention. The first month of practice is focused on fundamentals, skill development and safe contact tackling sessions before games begin in May.
If players are cut from the team a registration refund will be processed minus a $150 try out fee.

U12 Head Coach CHRIS SANDERSON
We’re pumped to announce the return of Coach Chris Sanderson as Head Coach for our U12 Waterloo Jr. Warriors this spring in OSFLfootball action!
With three years of coaching experience in the Jr. Warriors program, Coach Chris has been a driving force at both the U10 and U12 age groups. Last fall, he led the U12 team as Head Coach, building a foundation of growth, teamwork, and success.
This spring, Coach Chris is ready to take the reins again, pushing our athletes to reach their highest potential both on and off the field.
His extensive history in coaching minor sports and his passion for youth development make him an incredible leader for the team.
Let’s give a big Jr. Warriors welcome back to Coach Chris and get ready for an amazing season ahead!
