2025-2026 - prOOF of Residency requirements

Be advised that in order to not delay your account set up we require the "proper documenation" for your address verification. Proof of Residency is sent to the SW Registrar as per the registration instructions. 

Hockey Calgary requires that you provide "FOUR (4)" pieces from the "ACCEPTABLE" list. At any time a member can be asked to provide additional Proof of Residency if deemed necessary by Southwest or Hockey Calgary.

Residency information must;

  • Be in the name of the parent/guardian that the child resides with.
  • The scan MUST show the full DATE (not older than 2 months), Company, your NAME, Mailing & Service Address.
  • The scan must be clear and legible.

If you pay your bills online and don't have a paper copy you can make a copy from your online account or contact your utility company and get a copy emailed to you. As long as the appropriate information is showing as listed above.

​  OF THE 4 required documents a MINIMUM of 2 must come from the primary list!

PRIMARY options

  • Utility bill must include service address as well as mailing address and must be current (within the last month)
  • Current GST Statement or Income Tax Assessment
  • If moving prior to the start of the season, a signed purchase/rental agreement with possession date
  • If moving to a home under construction – a signed builder agreement with possession date
  • Homeowner/Rental Insurance Policy (all pages)
  • Vehicle registration/insurance

SECONDARY options

  • Cell Phone bills
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Property tax statement
  • Bank/financial statement
  • Mortgage statement
  • Student Demographic Information (available from your school)
