COMMUNITY LEAGUE
The Community Stream is Hockey Calgary's largest stream of hockey. This program is available for participants ranging from U7 to U18. We have provided an outline overview for each division.

GENERAL INFORMATION
VOLUNTEER BOND
The Volunteer Bond ("VB") s a mandatory requirement of registration with Southwest Hockey. It is each family's responsibility to meet the program commitment.
CASH CALL ACCOUNTABILITY
The cash-call is a dollar amount paid by the parent/guardian to the team in order to help fund the team budget. All families are responsible for contributing to their team(s) budget(s). Not knowing, is not an excuse.
COACHING
Every season Southwest Hockey requires volunteers from the parent group to take on the roles of Head Coach, Assistant Coach and/or Goalie Coach.

EVALUATIONS
Southwest Hockey runs evaluation sessions at the start of each season, using scheduled skill drills and scrimmages as appropriate for each age group. These sessions are used to organize participants into teams ahead of the upcoming season
