Train with some of Canada’s top talents in a unique offering by Subzero Volleyball Club.
A first of its kind experience in Whitehorse, this volleyball camp is designed to develop the complete athlete — technically, tactically, mentally, and physically in both beach and indoor contexts. Across four half-day sessions, athletes will develop their individual skills and apply them in team game play through a training approach grounded in motor learning principles. Our guest coaches bring firsthand experience from every stage of the athlete pathway, from youth club volleyball to university, professional, and Team Canada competition. Coaching experience with K4 Volleyball Camps and Subzero Volleyball Club.
What to Expect:
* On-Court Training led by Team Canada players Isaac Heslinga, Emma Boyd, and recently graduated MacEwan Griffins setter and former beach player Payton Shimoda, supported by Subzero Volleyball Club
*Off-Court Sessions built into the 3-hour sessions cover mental performance, nutrition, recovery, and more
*Camp style half-day sessions
Who Should Register:
*Boys & Girls entering Grades 8–12 (club 13U–17U in 2026)
*Club volleyball experience highly recommended
*Only 24 spots per age category (13/14U & 15-17U)
AWARDS 2020-21 Academic All Canadian & 2024-25 MRU Cougars' Women's Volleyball Team MVP! After four standout seasons at MRU, team captain and Canada West All-Star Emma Boyd signed her first professional contract with Volley-Ball Club de Chamalières in France’s top league, Ligue A Féminine. Emma will be playing her second year of professional volleyball in VfB Suhl LOTTO Thüringen (Germany).
