Sturgeon Hockey Club

COMMUNITY TEAM INVOLVEMENT CHALLENGE
For any questions regarding member concerns and/or completion of this form, please contact SHC’s Director of Game and Conduct:  gameconductdirector@sturgeonhockeyclub.com.
Sturgeon Hockey Club wants to encourage teams to get involved in their community. Volunteering together as a team helps children learn they can make a positive difference in the lives of others. It also helps strengthens relationships in ways no other activity can while also teaching leadership, compassion, empathy, tolerance, gratitude and community responsibility.

There are many ways your team can get involved:

  • Clean up the environment
  • organize a clothing or food drive
  • volunteer to help senior citizens
  • perform random acts of kindness, raise money for a local charity
  • or simply donate time to help those in need

No matter how big or small the contribution, your team will be making a positive impact in the community we are so proud to be members of.  To show our support in the 2025/26 season, SHC will award one participating team with a pizza party including a slot of ice. Teams must submit their community involvement activities to the SHC Ways and Means Director at: waysandmeansdirector@sturgeonhockeyclub.com.

The SHC Executive will judge all the submissions and choose the winner.
Deadline for submissions is January 31, 2026.
