Hockey Winnipeg is excited to announce the creation of our U11 Recreational Program in hopes of providing an accessible and inclusive introduction to the sport of hockey for youth ages 9-10 years old. The recreational program is a co-ed, 20-week program beginning in October and runs until the middle of March. It will consist of 1 game per week, played every Saturday at St. Vital arena with an emphasis on basic skill development and games in a fun and relaxed environment. All skill levels are welcomed with no previous hockey experience needed. Due to limited space availability, players cannot simultaneously play organized hockey and participate in the recreational program.
