SIDEWALK SIDE CONFERENCE

-Louisa St. Shuffleboard & Drinking Club(5-1) was home for their 3-2 win over No Pucks Given(3-3)

-Sexy Mother Puckers(4-1) returned to their old board at Prytania Bar and won 3-2 over the new Prytania Bar team, Prytanders To The Crown(4-2)

-Gutterpucks(4-2)  continued their 4 game winning streak on the road at The Double Club in the French Quarter, winning 4-1  against The Knockoffs(2-3).

-Puck-A-Duck(1-5) faced off against fellow (1-5)The Puck Stops Here in Arabi at Pirogues Whiskey Bayou, with the home team showing their skills on the short board in a 4-1 P-A-D win over TPSH.

We entered week 7 with #1LSDC(6-1), #2Sexy Mother Puckers(5-1), and #3GutterPucks(5-2) in the lead spots in the standings, and after wins at home and away, continue to hold on to their spots. The middle of the standings has #4Pytanders(4-3) , #5PBR(3-3), #6NoPucks Given(3-4), and #7Slow Rollers(3-4) within one game of each other. In the four weeks left, any of these teams can ascend to the upper standings and a chance at home playoff matches or join the bottom of the standings.  Don't count out the last teams, #8Knockoffs(2-5) or #9Puck-A-Duck(2-5) or #10The Puck Stops Here(1-6) out of ascending to the near top of the standings with four weeks to prove themselves. Knockoffs have Nick, the #1 ranked player on leaderboards and TPSH has Louis G, #2 ranked player.

The bottom four teams will play a Play-In playoff match in week one, June 9th, while the other remaining teams have a bye. With the close standings, it's impossible to predict where a team will end up in the standings. Good luck to all of them.
