Learn to Play

- gloves, batting helmet with cage, cleats are optional (runners are ok at this age). A fielding mask is mandatory for all players.

U11 / U13 / U15 

Uniform

The zone will provide the players jerseys.  These jerseys are for the player to keep until they no longer fit.  If a jersey becomes to small, players may notify the zone and it will be exchanged for a larger size.

Please wash your uniform in cold water only. DO NOT PLACE IT IN THE DRYER, you should hang your uniform to dry (this will help to avoid damaging the numbers).

Player equipment - You will be able to order online from Al Andersons (Source for Sports).  Please follow the link above.

You will need to have:

• Ball glove
• Red Helmet with face mask for batting  
• Red Belt 
• Red Ball Socks 
• Navy Ball Pants (Mizuno or Rawlings) 
• Fielders Mask
• Equipment Bag

It is OPTIONAL to have:

• ball cleats (highly recommended at U13 and above)
• batting gloves
• Red/Navy undershirt (optional for colder days)
• bats - for U11/U13/U15 - there will be bats supplied to the team that players can use.  If they do want their own bat, please make sure to check the requirments.  Visit the Softball Canada website to ensure the bat meets the minimum requirements.
• It is recommended that each player bring the following equipment to games and practices depending on the weather: jacket, mittens, water bottle, sun screen, insect repellent, sun glasses.
