About Alberta Cal Ripken: With a balanced approach to training, practice and competition, Alberta Cal Ripken High Performance Program offers players an opportunity to be seen and trained by professional coaches with a common goal to better the baseball culture in Alberta.

With the program expanding, Alberta Cal Ripken is looking for like minded mentors dedicated to grow and improve the competitive baseball culture in Alberta.

Coaching positions are part time, candidates must be open to working flexible hours including evenings and weekends, with the opportunity for year round coaching.

Additional opportunities for provincial and national coaching experiences.

Duties and requirements for the position include:

• Exceptional experience playing/coaching baseball.
• Professional interpersonal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to manage different personalities, while constructively instilling competitive program culture and sportsmanship.
• Construct efficient and intentional practices, functionally tailored towards individual and team oriented development/game preparation.
• Manage lineups and playing time while maintaining program values of development and competitiveness.
• Log and keep track of attendance, pitches, and innings/positions played.
• Field prep and maintenance. (examples: dragging/raking/lining field)
