Cal Ripken World Series Opportunity

We are pleased to announce that we will be returning to Branson, Missouri yet again to represent Team Canada in the 2024 12U Majors 70 Cal Ripken World Series! Every year our top travel team has the opportunity to represent Canada in the Ripken World Series. Players will have the time of their life participating in an unmatched, once in a lifetime, youth baseball experience. They will have the privilege to play against the best 12U competition from all over the World and the United States on youth dimension replica MLB fields. These include Fenway, Wrigley, Kauffman, & Busch Stadium. 2023 was another amazing experience at the Cal Ripken World Series playing against teams including Japan, Australia, The Caribbean, Puerto Rico, North Dakota, and Netherlands.

Alberta Cal Ripken and the World Series experience creates an opportunity for players to compete against teams from all over the world. It is crucial for our players to understand how their current talent level compares to other kids their age from outside of Canada. Many of our players have been the best at their game, in a very small pool of players in Southern Alberta, and have dreams and aspirations of playing baseball at a high level (American Universities/Professional baseball). This chance to play against international, and usually better competition, provides a wider perspective and understanding for what good and exceptional is. It creates a higher expectation and sense of urgency within the player to remain humble and hungry, holding them accountable for their personal and team development. Although growing pains are never easy, players in our program develop at a much faster rate and are better prepared for the next level because of the life goals they receive from their experiences with us. Our program teaches players they can achieve most things they aspire to do in life through hard work, perseverance, respectfulness, and accountability.

"The opportunity to attend the Cal Ripken World Series and represent Canada was a once in a lifetime experience for our son. The facilities, the chance to make friends from all over the world, and the ability to play a live, televised game with broadcasters is something most kids will never get to experience. Our baseball player still tells stories about his interactions with other countries players and how much fun he had. Ballparks of America, Cal Ripken and our coaches made the 10 days there a summer that he will never forget."

“Seeing my sons not only compete, but also create friendships with some of the best talent from all over the world was a dream come true.”
