Applications for Volunteer Positions Opens August 17, 2026

Volunteer with YWMHA

Thank you for volunteering with the York West Minor Hockey Association. All volunteers must complete the steps for their role before they can be approved to participate during the 2026–2027 season.

Non-Coaching Volunteers

For team and association volunteers who are not serving in a coaching role.

Complete These Steps

Complete the Online Volunteer Application

Submit the YWMHA online volunteer application form.

Complete Online Application

Submit Your CRC and VSC

If you are 18 years of age or older, submit a valid Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check to YWMHA by September 15, 2026.

You’re Done! Your volunteer application is complete once your online application and the required background checks have been received.

Coaching Volunteers

For head coaches, assistant coaches and other coaching volunteers.

New Coaches:   

Download, complete and submit the separate YWMHA Coaching Application Form. 

Download Coaching Application Form

Once completed, application forms can be sent via email to YWMHAPresident@gmail.com. 

Returning Coaches: 

Do not need to complete a new application form, but must provide any new coaching courses you've completed, any suspensions you've received etc. Send the relavant information via email to YWMHAPresident@gmail.com.
