Wenatchee Valley Lacrosse at the Youth level offers strong training and games reinforcing team development throughout the spring (March, after the snow melts - May) season. The youth organization is a member of the Central Washington Lacrosse League. Teams participate in several league games and/or tournaments, one of which is the Washington State Tournament.

Players may enter at any age group with no skill to highly experienced. The Wenatchee Valley Lacrosse program has established a reputation for developing new players and making strong players even better.

The rules are based on boys lacrosse; however, girls do fully participate with the teams.

The team hosts games at the Apple Bowl or Triangle Park, fields with Wenatchee High School, and travels to play teams throughout Washington State.

Youth Teams:
*7th - 8th Grade:  This team consists of players in grades 7 and 8 who want to develop their lacrosse skills, sportsmanship, and team play. Depending upon player ability and interest, this team may have more tournaments at the end of the season or in June. Rising 8th graders may practice and play on the High School Lacrosse Summer Team starting in June.
*5th - 6th Grade:  This team consists of players in grades 5 and 6 who want to develop their lacrosse skills, sportsmanship, and team play. Depending upon player ability and interest, this team may have more tournaments at the end of the season or in June.
*3rd - 4th Grade:  This team consists of players in grades 3 and 4 who want to develop their lacrosse skills, sportsmanship, and team play.

*These teams generally practice 3-4 days a week for 1.5 hours. They have roughly 10 games in a season. (Generally, games are 1-2 games on a Saturday with 2 home weekends and 4 away (Tri-Cities, Yakima, Spokane, or Seattle) weekends. They also participate in 2 weekend tournaments, which have between 3 and 6 games.)

K - 2nd Grade:  This team consists of players in grades K, 1, and 2 who want to develop lacrosse skills, sportsmanship, and team play in a fun manner. The Wenatchee Valley Lacrosse program has adopted the Flex6 Lacrosse program for K-2 teams -- a fun, fast-paced, non-contact version of lacrosse where focus in on the fundamentals. There will be no contact. Teams are mixed gender. Tennis balls are used to maximize safety and strengthen skills. Practice is 1-3 days a week for 1 hour. No games are travel. Games are scheduled when the older youth teams are also at home. Thus families with children at multiple levels will all be together.
