Wenatchee Valley Lacrosse offers some exciting opportunities for youth, brand new to experienced in the sport of lacrosse, to:

• Learn about the sport without pressure or judgment
• Grow in skills with encouragement
• Meet other youth who love to play lacrosse

In the fall, a "Try Lacrosse" event takes place. This event is FREE to any youth from grade K - 8 who may be interested in lacrosse -- or at least wants to find out more about it. Youth meet some coaches and/or experiences players who will talk about the sport and show them some skills related to the sport. Youth do not need any equipment. This is a time for fun and learning.

In the June, a summer camp takes place. This FEE-based event spans 2-3 days and coveres grades entering K to 12th. Youth are divided up by age and skill set. Everyone will learn at this event -- from the brand new novice to the highly experienced player looking to fine-tune skills. The camp is overseen by experienced coaches and often returning varsity players.
