The Dollard Executive Softball League Hall of Fame
The Dollard Executive Softball League Hall of Fame recognizes members have contributed on and off the field and who have left an indelible mark on our league, inspiring the future generations or players.
There are two categories of inductees:
- Builders
- Former players will be considered for induction into this category when the committee finds that their contributions either helped build the league or had a significant impact in the success and growth of the league. This includes but is not be limited to contributions from former Board Members including Presidents, and participants in league sanctioned charitable or other events.
- Former players will be considered for induction into this category when the committee finds that they have had an exemplary contribution as a player plus an extraordinary and extensive career as a team captain.
- Players
- Former players will be inducted into this category when the committee finds that they have had an extraordinary career in the league.
To ensure a fair standard, the player must meet the following minimum requirements:
- The player must have played in the league for a total of 15 full seasons or more. Long term injuries (more than ½ of a season) will be considered as time played.
- The player must have had a minimum of 1,200 regular season at bats including walks during his career.
- The player must have been retired for at least one season. A sabbatical year does not count as a retirement. If the player intends to return to play in the league, they do not qualify for consideration for election to the Hall of Fame.
- If a player is 75 years old or older, he is immediately eligible for consideration to the Hall of Fame.
The DESL Hall of Fame committee will review potential candidates in good standing with the league based on the information available to them. Players can nominate themselves or other players for consideration as well.
As of October 2025, here are your Dollard Executive Hall of Fame inductees (by year of induction and alphabetical order).
