Join us for the second annual Julia Hockey Mazur Foundation Fundraiser Tournament. Julia Hockey Mazur lost her battle with cancer in November of 2023 at the shocking age of just 20 years old. She was an avid hockey enthusiast, and member of the hockey community in NEPA. She worked on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Ice Crew since she was only 14 years old! She had also worked at both local ice rinks, as well Wilkes University Men's Ice Hockey team. She loved hockey more than ANYONE, so much so that she legally changed her middle name to hockey.
This tournament is to honor her legacy, and her commitment and love to the hockey community here in NEPA. Proceeds for the tournament will be going to her foundation, Julia Hockey Mazur Foundation, created by her mother, Carey.
-Team Fees- $200/team
-Individual Registration but for a Team- $30/player
-Free Agent Fees- $35/player, will be assigned to teams, form randomized teams as needed!
-With individual registrations, Captains are preferred to sign up first, Non-Captains can create the team as well though if they register first! But, if not you can select join as a single participant, and we can move you after your team is created.
-Full Dek 4 on 4 Games, Guaranteed Three
-Games will be one 15:00 minute running clock game for Adults
-Games will be one 10:00 minute running clock game for Youth
-Teams consist of 6 players and a goalie
-Must be at least 16 years of age for Adult Tournament
-Youth Ages 4-15
-Equipment Requirements: Helmet (caged/bubble lacrosse or hockey), shin guards, elbow guards (youth only) gloves, stick
