rivals program

      The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Lehigh Valley Phantoms want to bring the sport of hockey to your school.  This year, we are introducing “Rivals Program”, Presented By M&T Bank, an in-school street hockey program designed to teach elementary students the basics of hockey. Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, this program seamlessly blends fitness with fun. This program is most suitable and intended for grade 3-6.

      The Penguins Goals Foundation provides detailed lesson plans that physical education teachers can implement in their classes. All curriculum is compliant with the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Academic Standers for Physical Education.  We will supply the equipment in our street hockey kit.

      This program is free of charge courtesy of the Penguins Goals Foundation, Lehigh Valley Phantoms and M&T Bank.
