U18

U18 C -Games are 1.75 Hours and practices are 1 – 1.25 hours

Pre-season: October 10 – 30, 2022 (4 Practices)

Regular Season: November 1, 2022 to March 10-12, 2023;

All U18 C practice ice times are full ice practices.

The U18 C league will consist of 29 games and 6 more practices. There are no Provincials for this league but all teams participate in a double knock out City Playoffs.

SMHA City Playoffs start on or around March 8-10, 2023 – There are City Playoffs for ALL TEAMS.

U18 B –Games are 1.75 Hours and practices are 1-1.25 hours

Pre-season: October 10 – 30, 2022 (4-5 Practices)

Regular Season: November 1, 2022 to March 6/7, 2023;

All U18 B practice ice times are full ice.

The U18 B league will consist of 25 games and 9-10 more practices. There will be Provincial play downs at the end of January or early February for the four qualifying SMHA teams and all teams participate in a double knock out City Playoffs.

U18 AA – Games are 2.75-hour time slots and practices are 1- 1.25 hours

The U18 AA teams play in the Sask AA Hockey League

Preseason practices start approximately September 29, 2022 and the League starts October 1, 2022

There are 16-17 Home games per team and 24 practices.

Playoffs usually start in the middle of February for the SAAHL and do run during the February break. The Top 8 teams in the North division qualify with league playoffs being best of 5 series. The North Division Playoff winner goes on to the Provincial final.
