SPVC will be holding OPEN GYM SESSIONS for all age groups for GIRLS club volleyball to close out the 2026 season. Girls that are currently on an SPVC team and athletes from other clubs are strongly encouraged to attend. There is no preregistration for these events. SPVC coaches will be leading the sessions. Our Technical Director, Andre Turgeon, will be speaking to parents in a quick meeting at the start of each session outlining the new 2027 signing and tryout procedures introduced by Volleyball Alberta. The re-signing of athletes during June and July has changed dramatically for 2027 so Andre's communication at each session is important information.

Athletes, you might have an offer from your current club during the June 8-26 club re-signing period, what should you do? YOU have the choice, if you are happy with your current club, sign the offer. If you want the challenge and opportunity that SPVC offers, then attend our open gym sessions and speak to the head coach. This is your volleyball career, don't be shy. SPVC will not pressure our current 2026 athletes to sign during the club resigning period in June.

Important: our OPEN GYM SESSIONS are information and exposure events. If you are from another club or community or even new to volleyball this will allow you and your parents to get information about SPVC CLUB VOLLEYBALL and hear about the 2027 club season signing and tryout rules. Arrive 15 minutes early to each scheduled time, check in, then get ready to participate in volleyball related activities.
