The 3rd Annual Jay Vogt Memorial Father's Day Tournament will be held in memory of Jay Michael Vogt, a loving husband, father and son. He was the best "girl dad" there was and always made sure he was fun when needed, but stearn when it was needed as well. This did not matter if it was with his own girls or the girls on the teams he coached over the years or even his daughters friends in and out of the house! He was first and foremost a dad and father figure to many! He was always willing to step in and help no matter where he was needed and always made sure he made time for the girls! Thanks to each and everyone of you who choose to play in this tournament as we know and appreciate there are so may to pick from these days.

EXPECTATIONS OF ALL PARENTS/PLAYERS AND COACHES: Please review with your teams/coaches and parents prior to the start of the tournament. Please review all attachments for rules and policies.
The Lead-Deadwood Girls Softball Association has imposed a CODE OF CONDUCT for the tournament for coaches, players, parents and fans. Any misconduct before, during, or after a game will result in the ejection of the person or persons from the tournament. Failure to leave when requested by umpires or tournament personnel will result in a forfeit of the game(s). Coaches are responsible for your fans. GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP is essential to our tournaments success. THANK YOU!

NORTHERN HILLS RULES WILL APPLY FOR U10 & USA/ASA SOFTBALL RULES WILL APPLY for U12, 14/16
GAME TIMES WILL BE : U10: 1 hour and 10 minutes, no new innings after 1 hour and 5 minutes and U12, 14/16: 1 hour and 20 minutes, no new innings after 1 hour and 15 minutes. 
Teams will NOT be allowed to take a warm up ball after the first inning. 
RUN RULE: 15 after 3, 12 after 4 & 10 after 5 with a 5 run limit. When a U16 team is playing a U14 team, the U16 team will have a 5 run limit, U14 teams will have a 7 run limit.
Pick up players will be limited to 3 per team. 
Courtesy runners will be allowed for pitchers and catchers. 
U10 will bat the entire team and have free defensive substitution in all games. 
U12, U14/16 teams will have the option of batting the entire team with free defensive substitution or batting 9 and USA/ASA substitutions rules apply. 
TIES: The last player to be out the inning before will be placed on 2nd base; the inning will begin with 2 outs and play will resume until there is a winner
All Teams needs to be present 15 minutes prior to game time & lineups exchanged with other team 
NO GATE FEES will be charged
