*Note that questions in the coach application pertaining to race, ethnicity and gender identity are Hockey Canada mandatory questions. This data is not collected or used by KHC.

To coach in Knights Hockey Club, ALL coaches must meet the coaching certification requirements. For more information on our Coaching Requirements, please click here.

In order to be on the ice, all coaches must complete the following prior to the start of the season:

1. The online Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course. The cost is reimbursable , for all rostered coaches, on paid receipts and proof of completion being submitted to the Administrator. This certification must be renewed every 4 years.
2. Police Information Check (Criminal Record Search) through the Calgary Police Service. Police Information Checks (PIC's) require renewal every 3 years. Don't have a PIC or yours is expired? Email the Administrator for instructions on obtaining a new one.
