 *** WINTER PRE-STARSKATE SESSION***
21 week program. October 20th 2024- March 16th 2024.

 Designed for Prestar and Star 1 levels.Each session has one hour of group coached time included. Sessions will be:

Tuesdays: 5:00-6:00 pm Thorold Arena

Sundays 1:30-2:30pm Canada Games Centre

Cost $600

* 15 skaters needed to fulfill the contract.

PRE-STARskate ** FALL SESSION** 

Sept 8th to October 6th twice a week program

Program is an accelerated 5 week program. Desgined to get your skater ready for the winter season.  Each session has one hour of group coached time included. Off Ice TBD. Sessions will be:

Sunday 1:15-2:15 pm Canada Games Centre

Wednesdays: 5:00-6:00pm Canada Games Centre

Cost $200.00 for 10 sessions of coached time.

STARSKATE *** FALL SESSION***

All Star levels welcome. Program is an accelerated 5 week program . Each session has one hour of group coached time included. Off ice TBD. Sessions will be:

Sunday: 1:15-3:25 pm Canada Games Centre

Wednesdays: 5:00-7:00pm Canada Games Centre

Cost $300 for 10 sessions.

We have moved to the group coaching philosophy for all PreSTAR and  Star 1-3 programs, Star 4+ contiune as open ice sessions. Amanda will be the program director/coach. Private lesson coaches will NOT be permitted on group coached times. All sessions will be Open sessions for all Star levels.   * All programs are pending enrollment* . Each ice time requires an ice resurface. We do NOT control this and please do not reach out regarding the flood times.

The all new Star1-3 program will be a fully COACHED based program. What does this mean? It means your skater will be fully instructed by our club professional  at no additional cost. Each session will encompass Skills, Freeskate and Dance. Off ice session is included in this package. Creating a maximum development program designed for your skater to move efficiently  through the STARskate stream. Performance days and testing will be done as needed. This program is included in our annual Ice show. 

​Skills, Tests, Achievement, Recognition – this is what STARSkate is all about!

STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches figure skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner and includes specifically designed awards and incentives. Skaters have the opportunity to take Skate Canada Tests through a nationally standardized testing system. Skaters who have mastered figure skating skills in STARSkate may also choose to pursue synchronized skating or pairs skating.
