CANskate Winter October-December 2024

Sunday's 1:15-2:00pm Canada Games Centre

October 6th- December 22nd 2024. $300.00
* Second winter session starts in January 2025*

 CSA Approved helmet mandatory for all participants .Min Age requirement is ages 3 and up. Must be able to walk in skates unassisted . Payments can be sent BEFORE first session. All sessions to take place at Canada Games Centre at Brock University. Full season calendars with special dates and events will be issued to all skaters in advance for better planning.

​CANskate is designed for skaters ages 3 and up who can walk/stand in skates off the ice. No experience required 

Advanced is designed for returning CANskaters or skaters who can skate on the ice unassisted already. 

Coaches will evaluate  skaters and place them accordingly to continue their long term development goals. Both suessions run at the same time. 

CANskate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners of any age that teaches fundamental movements and basic skills.

CANskate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Based on Sport Canada’s long term athlete development (LTAD) principles, CANskate centers on physical literacy and the fundamental skills needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate as a recreational activity.
