Wednesday: 5:30 - 6:15 PM
Our CANSkate program is designed and led by Program Director Amanda Maggetti, along with a team of talented NCCP-certified coaches and dedicated program assistants.
CANSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program, suitable for beginners of all ages. It teaches the fundamental movements and basic skills of ice skating, focusing on balance, coordination, and speed.
CSA-approved helmets are mandatory for all participants.
This dynamic program emphasizes fun, participation, and skill development, and is based on Sport Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) principles. CANSkate helps skaters build physical literacy and the essential skills needed to succeed in any ice sport or enjoy recreational skating.
