Topic: Mental Performance Mindset Training and Developing Resilient Players
The Renegades zone is honoured to have Bob Braybrook be our speaker where he will discuss mental performance, mindset training and developing resilient athletes. Bob was born and raised in Saskatoon where he played minor hockey. He went on to play in the SJHL with the Saskatoon J’s and in the WHL with the Saskatoon Blades and Victoria Cougars. Following his Jr career he played for the U of S Huskies where he achieved Bachelors degrees in both Physical Education and Education and a Masters Degree in Leadership. He has recently retired after a successful 34-year career as a public educator and in-school administrator. In 2006, Bob was awarded Principal of the Year Award by the Canadian Association of Principals.
Bob is a wealth of knowledge with over 40+ years of coaching experience. He is a High Performance 2 certified coach with Hockey Saskatchewan. In 2021 he was the recipient of Hockey Canada’s Gordon Juckes Award for ongoing contributions to development of hockey in Canada. For 20 years, he has been working with high performance athletes as a Mental Performance Coach working with teams and athletes ranging from from U13 to the NHL.
