Thank you for taking on the role of TEAM MANAGER!
This role requires someone who can communicate well, be organized and someone who is prepared to make decisions that he/she knows is in the best interests of everyone on the team. Good managers will lead a team through important decisions on budgets and tournaments while ensuring everyone is included in the process. Be respectful of family budgets when it comes to spending decisions and work on a fundraising plan that is fair to everyone.
On this page, you will find links to information to help you organize your team. If you have something that you would like added to this page, to share with your fellow McKnight Managers, please forward your request to the Administrator at admin@mcknighthockey.com and we will add it.
Good Luck and thanks for your support!
Should you have any questions throughout the season, please contact your Division Coordinator and subsequently the Head Coordinator.
Each season, shortly after team selection, a team manager meeting will be held by the McKnight Administrator, Head Coordinator and the Division Coordinators to orient all team managers with the McKnight Hockey Association policies and procedures. This is a mandatory meeting for all U7 to U18 team managers.
This website page is always a work in progress. If you have something to add, please let us know.
New forms are being updated and added regularly.
Do I need an internet connection to use Digital Gamesheets?
You will need internet to enter your Game Code to start the game, and to finalize the game, but otherwise an internet connection is not needed
If your arena/facility has poor internet connection, we recommend entering the game code prior to entering the arena, then finalizing the game when you leave.
Bring pen/paper as back up!
Where do I get my Gamecode?
In the app navigate to the Schedule tab and click into the event. Scroll down and click Digital Game Sheet.
Codes will appear 24 hours before each scheduled game. Both home and visiting Team Admins can access the code.

What happens after the game is finalized?
Once a game is finalized, HC league chairs/governors will have access to the score, stats and officials' signatures and notes.
Note: once a game is finalized, it can no longer be edited in the Gamesheets section. Your LC or governor will have to make any edits needed.
Team Admins will receive a copy of the game sheet once finalized.
What happens if a referee has a write up?
At the end of the game, make contact with the referee to ensure incident report/writeups are completed. The writeups will be done on the scorekeeper's device whether it be a phone, tablet or computer.
If the referee needs to go back to the officials' room to gather more information before completing the write up, the scorekeeper is encouraged to wait outside of the room with their device until the referee is ready to provide their write up.
Please encourage managers to contact their Governor and/or League Chair with any questions.
No affiliates (excluding U13AA) will be allowed before October 21st, no exceptions. You must follow the affiliation process found HERE
When using an affiliate, they will be added to the game sheet only.
Screenshots of how and where to do this on the game sheets is below.
Managers can do this on game day once affiliates have been approved.
IMPORTANT: Please do not add them to the Affiliates section in TeamLink. Doing so will give them access to that team's entire schedule and chat, which we (AND YOU) do not want!
