What equipment is provided by the Flames?

• Helmet and Chinstrap
• Shoulder Pads
• White practice pants with blue belt
• Blue game pants with blue belt
• 2 knee pads
  At a future date, your player will receive the following items to keep:
• Game jersey
• 1 pair of game socks

Other items that will need to be purchased on your own:

• Practice jersey (can be purchased at equipment handout)
• Girdle
• Protective cup
• Cleats
• Equipment duffle bag (can be purchased at equipment handout)
• Mouth guard (Moore Orthodontics typically donates one per player).  Plan on buying a few more.  One typically does not last the entire season.

When do we get the equipment?

• Equipment handout 2024 is tentatively set for Monday, May 20th from 6:00-8:00pm. It will take place at the Lions Shed (at Lions Park - 81 E. Main St.) This date can shift depending on when the equipment is returned from our refurbishing vendor. Follow us on social media for further information and updates. 

What do we need to bring?

Please make sure you bring your child for weigh-in and to make sure that equipment is properly fitted. Additonally, you must bring an equipment deposit check for $375 (made out to LZ Flames). Lastly, if your child is a NEW FLAMES TACKLE player and you have not already emailed a copy of your child's birth certificate to Dave Burton (daveburton@lzflames.org) please bring a COPY to equipment handout.

Note: Your child MUST be registered AND paid in our system before you can pick up equipment. If you chose to pay offline by check, then please bring a check for the registration fee to equipment handout (made out to the LZ Flames). 

When is equipment Returned?

Equipment return is the week after the Superbowl, usually the second week of November.  

What happens if I lose or do not return equipment?

You are responsible for returning all equpiment at the end of the season (minus the jersey and socks).  The equipment must be returned in good condition assuming normal wear and tear throughout the season.  If any equipment is missing the replacement cost is below.
