Junior Ranger Volleyball
Jr Ranger is a middle school program sponsored by Forest Lake Area Athletic Association and Lakes Volleyball. The program is for all incoming 7th & 8th grade girls who want to play volleyball.
Our philosophy is to provide an opportunity for middle school girls to participate in the great game of volleyball, learn & enhance skills, learn time management, teamwork, all while having fun!!

Where : Forest Lake Area Middle School
When : Season runs from August 19, 2024 - October 16, 2024 (Dates will vary based on team placement.)

August 19 - August 27 (pre-eval Practices through Evaluations)

August 27th -practice at Forest Lake Area High School for 8th graders only. All other practices will be at Forest Lake Area Middle School.
We recognize that Tues. Aug 27th is open house at the Middle School. Unfortunately, due to gym space and coaches schedules, we are not able to move practice to a different night or time. We will be holding practice that evening for those that are able to attend. We understand that some players may not be able to attend practice in order to attend open house.

8TH GRADE Thurs Aug 29th, 2024 6:30 cafeteria-FLAMS
After Evaluations, your player will be placed on an In-house/Local team or Advanced/Traveling team. The Advanced/Traveling team includes an additional $75 charge for 3 Saturday playdates/tournaments in the metro area. You will have the option to opt in or out of this ahead of team placement in registration. Teams can be made up of a mix of 7th and 8th graders, according to assessed skill level on Evaluation day.
September 4 – October 16 (post-evaluations, after Teams are announced)
