Jr Ranger fall league 2026
Jr Ranger Volleyball is a Fall travel program offered by Lakes Volleyball for incoming 7th and 8th grade boys and girls in the Forest Lake, MN community. This program is designed for athletes who are ready to take their game to the next level through competitive team play, skill development, and quality coaching.
We expect to form a total of 4 girls teams made up of 7th and 8th graders. Full season fees are $250.
The Jr. Ranger program runs independently of the school district but maintains a strong connection with the local community and uses school facilities for practices.
who can participate
If your player does not make a Jr Rangers Fall Travel League team, they can still register and participate in the Community Ed program as they do not have tryouts.
tentative Season timeline
Tryouts:
When: Monday, August 17 and Thursday, August 20, 2026
Time: 6pm - 8pm both days
Where: Forest Lake High School - South Field House
Registration is required to attend tryouts.
Placement Practices:
When: Monday, August 24 and Wednesday, August 26, 2026
Time: 6pm - 8pm both days
Where: Forest Lake High School - South Field House
League fees are due prior to placement practices.
Season Duration:
Mid-August through Mid-October
Practices begin shortly after tryouts and continue through the tournament season.

Days: Two evenings per week
Time: Between 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Forest Lake High School gymnasium
Players are expected to attend all practices as part of their team commitment.
Competitions
Jr. Ranger teams will compete in 5 playdates, held on consecutive Saturdays in September through mid-October.
Competition dates: September 11, 18, 25, October 2, 9
Morning or afternoon wave start times
Competitions will be held within the Twin Cities area.

Players should come prepared with the following:
- Knee pads
- Black spandex shorts for girls, black shorts for boys
- Comfortable athletic apparel for practice
- A labeled water bottle for hydration

Email will be sent to all registered players sharing results as well as posted on our Jr Ranger Team page.
Team schedules and updates will be shared through the TeamLinkt app. All families are encouraged to download and use the app for the most up-to-date information throughout the season.
