The Ontario Sport Network (OSN) is a partner of the National Sport Trust Fund (NSTF) and has been authorized to act as the Ontario Branch of the NSTF and as the provincial fund manager for all donations made to amateur sport in Ontario. This initiative will permit OSN members, including the Kingston Grenadiers to establish revenue generation programs for which a charitable tax receipt can be provided. Donations will be made to the National Sport Trust Fund - Ontario (NSTF-Ontario) and then directed to the Kingston Grenadiers on a quarterly basis. To participate in the NSTF-Ontario program, the Kingston Grenadiers must adhere to specific guidelines and procedures.
Our team of volunteers are committed to organizing ongoing fundraising efforts to help support these needs to help grow and develop the programs offered to youth football in our community by keeping the registration fees affordable to allow equal opportunity to all players. And we are very excited to launch the Kingston Grenadiers Fund through this partnership.
Over the years, financial costs for team sports have increased and the building blocks of success for our student-athletes have become a greater challenge. Outreach programs, upgrading equipment, coaches training, athletes' bursaries, off season training and ensuring player safety are just a few of the building blocks for success. This fundraising initiative will allow our many supporters to receive a charitable tax receipt for donations over $10.00.
We are asking for your direct financial support to help us continue to offer affordable, quality programming. We hope that all the football alumni with fond memories of their days as GMEN, our fans and community partners will consider supporting this program.
