As part of our football programs, and to ensure we provide the best experience for our players, families, and fans, we ask families to contribute in some capacity. However, this opportunity is not limited to parents! Friends, family members, and Grens supporters are encouraged to participate, making it an excellent option for students seeking to fulfill their volunteer hour requirements.
Requirements for all players registered for the 2025 season: One (1) Practice or Game shift AND one (1) Championship Weekend shift. Once this Volunteer Commitment requirement is completed, we will return your deposit.
Most volunteer “shifts” take place during a portion of our home games or practice sessions. If you have a player on one of our teams, we recommend signing up for a shift during another team’s game (e.g., if your player is on the U14 team, consider signing up for U16 or U18 games) to allow you to fully enjoy your player's game.
Thank you for helping us create an exceptional football experience for everyone!

Current Volunteers: Our dedicated bingo volunteers work tirelessly to raise essential funds through the Play! Charitable Gaming Association (PCGA). This ongoing initiative not only supports our mission but also helps families overcome social and economic challenges that might otherwise hinder or limit their participation, offering credits for every completed shift. We are immensely grateful for your time and unwavering support.
New Volunteer Training - New volunteers are required to complete a two-step training program that includes reading the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) document and on-line component (approx. 30 minutes). Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator to complete your on-line training and to schedule a “shadowing” shift with an experienced volunteer from our organization BEFORE you sign up for a shift. You can join us for as little as 2 hours a month. Through the generous contributions facilitated by the Play! Charitable Gaming Association (PCGA), we are able to prioritize delivering high-quality programs that positively impact the lives of young athletes in the communities we serve in a positive and safe environment for every athlete by helping cover the gap in funding for things like;
