Q (Question): When will my child(ren) be fully registered?

A (Answer): Online registration and payment are only the first steps for registration. Participants are not "fully registered" until the physical paperwork is completed. Paperwork collection dates will take place again this summer in person. Physical paper is mandated (no electronic) by the league and all forms must be completed in order for it to be accepted on collection days. THEY MUST BE PRINTED SINGLE SIDED. The forms are all in the AYF packet that you received in your confirmation email when you registered. Search TeamLinkt registration in your email. If you are still unable to find it, you can find your packet once you login. Follow these directions:

Go to the WWYFC website  which brings you to our homepage. Scroll to the very bottom and there is a login link (its hidden so look carefully). Press that and login (you made this login when you enrolled). Then press on your initial in the top right. Click on Family. Click on your child. Click the registration tab. Click on your invoice and in there is a link for AYF paperwork. 

Q: Can I enroll all my kids at the same time?

A: Yes. In addition, returning families (who are enrolling early) can register all their children regardless of past participation.

 

Q: Can I use the app to register?

A: Please do NOT use the TeamLinkt (phone) app to register. Computer-based registration is more reliable. 

 

Q: Can I register for a specific team?

A: League regulations require equally talented teams, therefore we cannot accept any requests about team placement. 

 

Q: What are the safety qualifications of the coaches?

A: All head and assistant coaches have Human Kinetics/American Youth Football Coaches Certification, Heads-Up Concussion training, and are CORI-checked. At least one coach at each practice is CPR-certified.

 

Q: When will practices/games be?

A: Typically both football and cheer practice are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Wayland High School. During pre-season tackle football practices are held Monday through Thursday with occasional Saturdays. Games are on Sundays, with an occasional Saturday game. All schedules are dependent on field availability and are subject to change.

 

Q: How will I know what team/squad my athlete will be on?

A: Teams will be created after the close of registration. We will notify you!

 

Q: What if my child wants to participate but we are having difficulty with the registration fees?

A: We are committed to ensuring every child who wants to cheer or play football is able to. Scholarships are available for those with financial need upon request. Please contact us.

 

Q: Why am I being charged a service fee?

A: The Stripe payment platform charges a fee to process payments. Sadly, the league was unable to get this waived (as they would require 80% of our transactions to be donations).
