Wayland-Weston Youth Football and Cheer:

• Is a not-for-profit, community-based, youth sports organization
• Is a member organization of American Youth Football and Cheer (AYFC)
• Competes in the Eastern Mass AYFC Conference (composed of 20 member programs): EMAYF Website
• Offers the following programs
  • Cheerleading
  • Flag Football
  • Tackle Football
• Offers a developmental based approach to both sports with a goal of preparing our athletes for high school participation
• Believes in the Double-Goal Approach (From Positive Coaching Alliance) emphasizing competitiveness AND athlete development including respecting the ROOTS of the game:
  • Roots
  • Opponents
  • Officials
  • Teammates
  • Self
• Prioritizes athlete safety through state-of-the-art equipment, coaching training, EMT presence at games, and more
• Believes cost should never be a barrier to participation in youth sports and offers scholarships to athletes with financial need
