About Us

The Sainte Anne Minor Hockey Association (SAMH) is an association formed in association with the Eastman Minor Hockey Association.
SAMH is based out of the Town of Sainte Anne, with players from the Town and R.M. of Sainte Anne, as well as surrounding areas. We aim to create an enjoyable organized hockey experience for all players who wish to participate, as well as for the coaches and managers. Our main interests and concerns will always be the players of the sport of hockey. SAMH strives to promote the ideal of an enduring playing opportunity for all players who show and express interest and desire in the sport of Hockey!

Sainte Anne Minor Hockey is governed by an elected Board of Directors.

THE OBJECTIVES OF THE SAINTE ANNE MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION ARE:

 1. To promote hockey in the town of Sainte Anne and the adjoining munucipalities for the following age classification groupings: Squirts, Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam, & Midget.

2. To Promote and teach good sportsmanship, how to win and lose with good grace by playing fairly, to encourage friendship, cooperation, and good citizenship.

3.  To promote and teach that winning is secondary to the building of good character and physical fittness sports skills.

4. To promote and establish conditions condusive to the safety of the players and other participants of the sport.

5. To promote and ensure proper training and experience are given to coaches and referees as a means of using local talent and at the same time ensure that proper hockey is taught to the players.
