HOW TO REGISTER THROUGH HOCKEY CANADA |
Registration for the 2026-27 hockey season will run from July 15, 2025 to September 4, 2026. Register between July 15 and August 15 to capitalize on the Early Bird Incentive! (Exceptions apply to members who are new U7, new to the community, and any players released from Regional or High School teams registering after August 15.) Step 1: Click the “Register Now” button below to be redirected to the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR/Spordle) website. Step 2: Click the ‘Login’ link (top right corner) and login with your existing account credentials. New parents/players, click on ‘Sign Up’ to create a new account.Note that if you already have kids in hockey but are registering a NEW child, you will need to create a profile for the new child. Step 3: Once logged in, click on the user icon (top right corner) and select "MyAccount". You will need to link your child’s profile to your account. On your "Dashboard", click ‘Link a Member’. There you will be able to search for your returning child’s profile or create a new one for a first-time player. Step 4: Once your player is linked you can follow the prompts to register for the appropriate age level packages. Fees can be paid in full or in 4 installments. Installments are withdrawn at the time of initial registration, and then the 1 st of the month in October, November and final in December. Any outstanding fees from the 2025/26 season must be paid prior to registering for the 2026/27 season. NEW PLAYERS: After you have completed the online registration, please provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate to the registrar by email –registrar.icehawkshockey@gmail.com. One parent/guardian is required to complete the RESPECT IN SPORT-PARENTS program before October 31 st to be eligible to play. 2026-2027 EASTMAN REGIONAL (AA, AAA) TRYOUT REGISTRATION & INFORMATION
If your player chooses to tryout for the Eastman Regional Teams, you must register with BOTH Eastman and SMHA to be eligible. Please follow the link for Eastman information and registration below: Eastman Minor Hockey Association : Regional Hockey Program Registration and Information. Please notify the SMHA Convenor and Registrar if your player is released at any point of the tryout process. If not already done so, you will have to complete and pay any remaining fees to SMHA for the regular season.
