Vulnerable Sector Check (aka VSC)

Anyone who has direct contact with children (on the bench, during practices, etc.) requires to have a VSC completed, including all executive board members. A VSC is required to be completed every 3 years. On the 'off years' a VSC declaration letter is required. Completed VSC forms are to be collected by Tania deWeerd, our club Past president. It's mandatory that you keep a copy of your own VSC. VSC are now being sent out via email. When the VSC is issued, a link is sent to your email.  You are only able to download it for 2 weeks after it's been issued, so ensure that you save yourself a copy so you can access it for the full 3 years that it is valid for. After it's been downloaded, it can be printed/emailed to seaforthjrpresident@gmail.com

Check your VSC Status, using your NCCP # and last name
If your VSC initial date is 2024 or earlier, then you need to apply for a new VSC this year.

OPP website link - read instructions and click on the blue button at the bottom of the page to apply for your VSC. When you have completed your VSC, you will receive an email confirmation that the application has been submitted. You can only apply for a VSC online. You will need VSC Letter #1 and #2 to be able to have a VSC completed free of charge. There is a backlog of applications so apply asap.

VSC Volunteer Letter
The VSC volunteer confirmation letter is required to apply for a VSC and have the fee waived.
