for managers

The Manager is the person responsible for all communications with the association, their team, coaching staff and other teams, etc. This person will also be responsible for team funds, tournaments, fundraising and various other tasks throughout the season. This is a crucial role and requires excellent communication and organizational skills. Some tasks may be delegated to parent volunteers, but it remains the manager’s role to provide adequate oversight and guidance. Below you will find an extensive guide on tasks and possible scenarios that may arise throughout the season. You will also find links to forms, templates, stickers and websites that will help you mould your team’s hockey season.

Never make assumptions throughout the season. It is better to ask then to mislead coaching staff, parents and players throughout the season. The RMHA Executive Team is there to help. You can find their contact information here. Another great resource are other team managers. Use the resources at your disposal to make this season the best one yet!
