• Flag Football- Grades Kindergarten and 1st
• USA Rookie Tackle  - Grades 2 & 3
• USA Tackle - Grades 4-7

Northern Stark Youth Football League age and weight limitations can be found in the rule book. For a quick reference, see picture below. 

* Playing up a grade level is NOT permitted. 

* Of note, number of participants will be restricted based on league rules. 

The teams are coached by volunteers.  Most tackle coaches have been with the league for many years.  All coaches are required to be USA football certified and for concussion awareness. Please reach out to plyf.board@gmail.com for more information.

NEW FUNDRAISING FEE-  for the 2026 season parents/guardians will be required to pay registration fee plus $50 fundraising fee. 

• Flag Football-  $75 per child with a $400 family max. The season starts in July. Practice times are usually between 5:30 and 7:30 at Glenwood middle school on 44th street.
• Rookie Tackle - $100.00 per child with a $400 family max.  Camp (voluntary) dates TBD with team practices starting in August.  Additional details will be forthcoming regarding practice/game schedules.  Practice times are usually between 5:30 and 7:30 at Glenwood middle school on 44th street.
• Tackle - $100.00 per child and also a $400 family max. Camp (voluntary) dates TBD with team practices starting in August. Additional details will be forthcoming regarding practice/game schedules.  Practice times are usually between 5:30 and 7:30 at Glenwood middle school on 44th street

ALL athletes playing tackle football will be required to attend equipment fitting.
