September 16 Update:
The Club is currently holding tryouts for Girls and Boys Competitive Club Teams of all ages! Complete Coach, Clinic and Tryout Information is listed below. Note- information on this page may be updated with new/changed tryout dates as gym space becomes available- please keep checking for updates below!
The cost for the 2024/25 OVA Thunder Volleyball season for competitive club teams is $925 (due after tryouts- can be made in two installments). This includes/covers OVA athlete registration fees, OVA tournament registration costs, uniforms, facility bookings and team equipment. It does not include any additional/ exhibition tournaments the team may be interested in playing, or individual athlete travel or accommodation costs. More information about season costs will be shared by your coach, before teams are established.
Thunder Tryout Policy:
- Thunder athletes should tryout for a team aligned with their birth year.
- Athletes may tryout for a team older than their birth year if they are deemed exceptional and would contribute to the older age group team with meaningful playing time.
- If an athlete is cut from a team aligned with their birth year, they may:
- Continue to tryout for a second team; and/or
- Tryout for an age group younger (if they are age eligible- late birthday), only after being cut/released by the coach/team aligned with their birth year.
